A material is considered to be of pharmacopoeial quality if it complies with all the requirements stated in the monograph and in any other applicable text (general chapters, general monographs, methods, etc.). However, this does not mean that all of the tests stated in the monograph will always have to be carried out in every case. Please refer to the Ph. Eur. General Notices for more details.
