A number RX-CEP 2000-001-rev YY consists in an invariable part code ("CEP 2000-001") linked to the number of a dossier (CEP = indicator of the procedure + application year + chronological number) and “variable parts” of the code (to indicate renewal and revision of a certificate):
- RX is the “Renewal indicator” RO stands for the first 5 years of life of the certificate, R1 for the next years following the renewal.
- Rev YY is the “Revision indicator” (incremented every time a revision takes place, whatever the revision is).
