A laboratory is classified as ‘non-evaluable’ if: 

  • at least one result is missing;
  • more than one result is inconclusive. Please note that ‘inconclusive result’ should be used in case of a technical failure (e.g. sampling failure, clotting, instrument failure), whereas ‘doubtful’ should be used for doubtful/grey zone results as implemented by the laboratory.
