The electronic online version can only be used online ( via the website) or via an application installed to a computer and/or a USB stick, for online or offline use.. Starting with the 11th Edition of the Ph. Eur. Online (website)

The online version can be accessed from all major operating systems, including iOS and Android for tablets and smartphones.

      - Windows 7 and higher
      - Linux
      - Macintosh
      - iOS 5 and higher; 
      - Android 3 and higher

• Internet browser (preferably Chrome or Firefox)

• JavaScript enabled in the Internet browser

Ph. Eur. Application (installed to computer and/or USB stick)

• Operating systems:

      - Windows 7 and higher (64-bit only) - no local administrator rights for a per-user installation, local administrator rights for installation on a shared computer (computer used by several individuals)
      - Linux
      - Macintosh (planned)

Note: the application is currently not supposed to be installed on a server nor a virtual machine, and we cannot guarantee we will be able to provide you with technical support in case of issues.

• Acrobat Reader for viewing PDF documents.
