Yes. In the ‘Audio Panel’, you will see separate icons for the microphone and the speakers.

Test your microphone by speaking into it: if the correct device is selected, the volume meter next to the Mic microphone icon will light up with green bars.

Test your speakers by listening for audio: if connected correctly, the volume meter next to the Speakers speaker icon will light up with green bars and you will hear an audio track through your speakers. If you see the green bars but do not hear any noise, try turning up the volume of your speakers.
