The reference standard EDQM storage conditions are intended to preserve the quality attributes of the material for the duration of its use as a Ph. Eur. Reference Standard.

The EDQM storage conditions are provided in the Ph. Eur. Reference Standards Database.

Please be aware that storage conditions may be changed at any time. Nevertheless and as far as possible, changes will be implemented once a month (mid of the month) and changes communicated to users through the EDQM website.

The storage conditions apply only to unopened vials. Once a vial has been opened, the stability of its content is not guaranteed. Therefore, the EDQM makes no warranties concerning the continued suitability of previously opened EDQM Reference Standards. Decisions concerning the proper use of previously opened EDQM Reference Standards are the responsibility of the user.

Similarly, reference standards stored under conditions . Users storing reference standards at temperatures other than those specified in the   Ph. Eur. Reference Standards Database  do so at their own riskare not guaranteed.
